The Component Check Weigher, checks that each box being weighed, has been packed with the correct components. This could be back panels, nuts and bolts pack, wall bracket etc. A laser bar code reader scans the label before it passes over the check weigher. The information read is component code number, customer number, date of manufacture and expected weight of the consignment. The data is recorded onto a data base incorporated in the main enclosure. A printer only issues a ticket if the weight is correct, otherwise an alarm panel shows if the package is either under weight or over weight.

Cake Weighers

The Lodestone Cake weigher is a programmable device and is designed for industrial packaging. A set point is put into the system for total package weight. When a package is passed across the weigher, a display shows the weight of the package and an alarm is sounded if the weight of the package is outside the set point. This would normally indicate that the number of packages in the box is incorrect.

A printer is available to record time date and package weight, and can if required produce a unique number per box. A bar code reader is also available to record the required weight of each package. This is particularly useful when different weight packages are being weighed on the same production line.

Lodestone also produce a compact check weigher generally used to check weigh smaller packages and can be moved for section to section depending where the weighment needs to be made
